Postcards from Paradise: My Trip to the Coast

Last summer, I went on a trip to the coast. It was my first time seeing the ocean, and it was amazing! We stayed in a small town near the beach. The town was very friendly, and everyone seemed happy. I went with my family – my parents and my younger brother. We traveled by car, and the journey took about four hours. It was quite long, but we listened to music and played games, so it was okay.

The beach was the best part of the trip. The sand was soft and warm, and the water was blue and clear. I swam in the sea every day, and I also built sandcastles. My brother liked to collect shells. We even saw some dolphins swimming in the distance! One day, we took a boat trip to a small island. We explored the island and found a hidden beach. It was like a dream!

We ate lots of seafood. I tried fish and chips for the first time, and I loved it. We also visited a local market where we bought souvenirs. I bought a small seashell for my best friend. The weather was sunny and warm every day. I took lots of photos to remember the trip. I hope I can go back to the coast again next summer. It was the best holiday ever!
